UFC Must Monopolize Video Game Industry
This is yet just a rumor, and has not been confirmed, but it is said that if any fighter in the UFC takes part in the future EA Sprorts Video Game; MMA, they will be banned from the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It seems Dana doesn't run much of a democracy in video game land, or mixed martial arts for that matter. It is a reoccurring trend in the UFC. No one touches anyone in their roster in anyway unless it puts money in their wallets. First the UFC bans sponsors, and charges them; then they thwart any plan of anyone touching their beloved Undisputed. What's next?
Sure, it's genius, who wants to play an MMA game with Travis Fulton on the cover? But I must say, it does not come as a surprise to me. If they are willing to ban all of AKA's fighter from the UFC because Jon Fitch didn't want to sign away his lifetime videogame rights, why would they blink at banning someone who has appeared in a rival game? More of the same from Zuffa.
However, according to ESPN.com, "EA sports chair told Kotaku.com that he is undaunted by THQ's acquisition of the UFC license and that he'll get 'who we need to get' in order to compete." (Early hint: Moore attended the most Strikeforce.) Good luck with that Moore.
